1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) today announced the appointment of Parker Randall as its auditor, a statement said today.
The company submitted forms 11 and 52 to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM), on Jan 3,2017 to confirm the appointment.
The CCM website relates both forms to the application for change in company name.
Meanwhile, in Putrajaya Treasury Secretary-General Tan Sri Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah, who is also 1MDB Chairman, said Parker Randall was currently auditing some of 1MDB's subsidiaries.
"We (will) wait for the (audit) report," he told a press conference at the Treasury here today.
Parker Randall is an international auditing firm and is the fourth auditor appointed by 1MDB after Ernst & Young, KPMG and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd.. -- BERNAMA
