AirAsia to add flights to Manila and Banda Aceh

AirAsia is increasing its flight frequencies for the Kuala Lumpur-Manila (MNL) route from twice to three times daily as well as that of Kuala Lumpur-Banda Aceh (BTJ) from daily flights to 10 times weekly. The added frequency to Manila will commence on July 12, 2015 while that of Banda Aceh on July 16, both operated by AirAsia Bhd with the flight code AK, the low-cost airline said in a statement today. In conjunction with the flight frequency increase, AirAsia is offering a special promotion with all-in-fares from as low as RM216 one way from Kuala Lumpur to Manila for all bookings made from April 20 to 26 for the travel period from April 22 to Sept 30, 2015. All-in-fares from as low as RM119 one way are also available for Kuala Lumpur-Banda Aceh flights, and the booking will be from April 20 to 26 for the travel period from July 16 to Sept 30, 2015. AirAsia also connects Malaysia to the Philippines with daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Clark and Kalibo - a gateway to Boracay, as well as to Cebu with three times weekly flights. Passengers from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah can connect to Manila with daily flights, and Cebu with four times weekly flights. Meanwhile, AirAsia operates more than 250 times weekly flights connecting Malaysia and Indonesia covering 16 cities throughout the archipelago. Direct flights are available from various hubs in Malaysia, namely from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Baharu, Penang and Kota Kinabalu to Balikpapan, Bandung, Bali, Lombok, Jakarta, Medan, Banda Acheh, Jogjakarta, Padang, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Pontianak, Semarang, Solo, Surabaya, and Makassar.
