AirAsia adds flight frequencies for Hari Raya
AirAsia announced additional flight frequencies to Kota Baharu, Langkawi, Pekanbaru, Solo, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket for the travel period of Aug 2-18, in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya celebration.
The flights are now available for booking at www.airasia.com as well as AirAsia apps on iPhone and Android devices.
"Flight frequencies from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi will be increased to 70 times weekly from 66 times, effective June onwards.
"Effective August onwards, flight frequencies from Kuala Lumpur to Pekanbaru will be increased to 14 times weekly from seven times while Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok flights are increased to 70 times weekly from 63 times," AirAsia said in a statement Wednesday.
AirAsia commercial director, Kenny Wong, said the additional flight frequencies were introduced as the airline expected a travel surge during the festive period.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, AirAsia X announced its promotion, offering guests the opportunity to plan their future travel from as low as RM299 one-way from Kuala Lumpur to Korea and get the other flight ticket for their loved ones for free.
"Bookings are available online from now until June 10 for travel period from July 1 this year to April 30 next year," it said.
Other destinations offered in this promotion include Taiwan, Australia, Nepal and Saudi Arabia.
