AirAsia, AirAsia X passengers urged to arrive at the airport early

AirAsia and AirAsia X is encouraging guests travelling during Hari Raya Aidilfitri to conduct self-check-in and arrive at the airport early.

This would help clear all travel formalities and avoid the expected congestion due to the surge of passenger numbers travelling during this festivity period, both airlines said in a statement today.

"Guests are recommended to arrive at the airport at least three hours ahead for AirAsia and four hours for AirAsia X prior to the scheduled time of departure of their respective flights.

"Utilise web, mobile or self-check-in kiosk services for their travel convenience. It is also highly recommended for guests to print out their boarding passes before arriving at the airport," the statement noted.
