AirAsia bags gold at Astrid Award event

AirAsia Bhd clinched the Gold Award for Corporate Annual Report Non Traditional Category, at the recent ASTRID Awards for its creative execution of the 2014 Annual Report, themed, "The ASEAN Airline".

AirAsia X Bhd's 2014 Annual Report, themed, "Awesome Team, Amazing Destinations", bagged the Bronze Award under the same category.

In a statement today, AirAsia said the New York-based ASTRID Awards was established to recognise stellar qualities in creativity, craftsmanship, innovation and design originality.

The awards received nearly 550 entries from around the world this year, all vying for the top spots across its 25 categories.

"We hope our stakeholders will enjoy the 2015 Annual Report which is available for download at airasia.com, as well as AirAsias Investor Relations mobile app on Google Play store and Apple App Store.

"We will continue to look for innovative ways to produce high quality annual reports to ensure effective and consistent communications with all our stakeholders," Head of Investor Relations, Elina Effendi said.
