AirAsia offers 20 % discount for all KL-India flights

Frills-free airline AirAsia Bhd will be offering a 20 per cent discount on all its flights from Kuala Lumpur to India, in conjunction with the upcoming Thaipusam celebrations.

Travellers can book the flights from Kuala Lumpur to Bangalore, Kolkata, Kochi, Chennai, Trichy and vice versa with the discount on seats, from Jan 25, 2013 to Feb 3, 2013.

The travel period for the special discount will be from Feb 4, 2013 to May 20, 2013.

"This special discount is available online at www.airasia.com, all of AirAsia's mobile booking platforms such as on iPhone, Android devices and WAP enabled phones at mobile.airasia.com," the budget carrier said in a statement today.

On another note, AirAsia will also be setting up a special interactive booth at Batu Caves on Jan 26-27, in conjunction with Thaipusam.

"Visitors to the booth will be able to purchase the same discounted flights to India as well, and the first 300 visitors to book flights are in for a treat with AirAsia freebies.

"Visitors who book their flights at the AirAsia booth this weekend will also be eligible for lucky draws with free flights up for grabs," the airline added.
