Astro CEO Rohana Rozhan wins Asia Talent Management Award 2016

Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad Group CEO Datuk Rohana Rozhan has won the Asia Talent Management Award 2016 at the 15th CNBC Asia Business Leaders Awards (ABLA) here, this evening.
Rohana received the award in recognition of her emphasis in nurturing in-house talents to achieve, produce and innovate their creativity on and off air.
"I am especially proud to receive this award on behalf of Team Astro as I feel it is a true validation of how awesome they are both on and off air," said Rohana in her speech after receiving the award.
The award also recognised Astro’s tremendous contributions in developing, retaining as well as nurturing the next generation of leaders.
"Team Astro is arguably the most diverse in complementary team there is anywhere, comprising the best of technologists, creatives, marketeers, analysts, lawyers, accountants, actors, comedians, singers, news anchors, journalists to name just a few.
"Our strength is in coming together as one awesome team, always striving and challenging ourselves and one another to tell stories that resonate and to be our customers' choice," she said.
This is further in recognition to Rohana after she was honoured with the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the same CNBC event in 2013.
ABLA, was pioneered in 2001 to recognise outstanding business leaders, who through strength, innovation and foresight induce positive change in the corporate world.
