Azman Yahya appointed new SIC chairman

The Finance Ministry today announced the appointment of Tan Sri Mohamed Azman Yahya as the new non-executive chairman of Sepang International Circuit Sdn Bhd (SIC).
In a statement, the ministry said the appointment, effective today, was for a three-year term.
The appointment was made following the resignation of Tan Sri Mokhzani Tun Mahathir as chairman and board member of SIC effective Oct 10, the statement said.
Mokhzani announced his resignation as a member of the SIC board after serving for 13 years in a news release yesterday.
Mohamed Azman, 51, founder and chief executive officer of Symphony House Berhad, an outsourcing services company, also holds posts in several government-linked companies such as Khazanah Nasional Bhd and Ekuiti Nasional Bhd.
He is also a director of SIC and chairman of Motorsports Commission of Malaysia.
SIC is a company incorporated under the Finance Ministry. -- Bernama
