China's Xi Jinping may visit Malaysia, says UOB Kay Hian
Xis possible visit to Kuala Lumpur could cement the ties between the two nations even further.
Hot on the heels of the “Belt & Road” (OBOR) summit currently taking place in China, UOB Kay Hian, in a research report this morning, said there could be a possibility that China’s Premier Xi Jinping be visiting Malaysia by August this year.
If this happens, it could bring about a serious interest in pushing forward for greater bilateral trade engagements between the two nations.
Already, the OBOR conference is expected to lift interests in some of the 14 Malaysia-Sino agreements worth about RM 144 billion.
