FBM KLCI futures slightly easier in early trade

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened slightly easier following a quiet cash market, dealers said.
At 9.48 am, December 2012 and March 2013 eased 2.5 points each to 1,673.50 and 1,676, respectively, January 2013 was two points lower at 1,678 and June 2013 slipped 1.5 points to 1,671.
Turnover stood at 5,979 lots while open interest amounted to 37,952 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI eased 2.68 points to 1,666.72 after 48 minutes of trading.
