Firefly inks codeshare partnership with MAB

Firefly Airlines has inked a codeshare partnership with Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB), beginning with three destinations on the airline's route network from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
In a statement, Firefly said the partnership would take effect from Dec 22, 2015, and would allow customers to book routes to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Penang via any Firely ticket booking platforms.
"We have no doubts that the offering of the ability to book flights to East Malaysia will be a boom to our loyal customers.
"With the launch of these initial routes, Firefly will gradually increase the number of codeshare routes with MAB in 2016," said Firely Chief Executive Officer Ignatius Ong.
He said in the coming weeks, Firefly would offer more route options with MAB.
