Focus on implementing 2013 budget efficiently - Najib

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak reminded civil servants to ensure the 2013 Budget was implemented efficiently.

Najib in his tweeter message Tuesday said he had reminded civil servants when speaking at the first monthly meeting of the Prime Minister's Department in Putrajaya, yesterday.

"When speaking at the monthly gathering, the first for this year, I urged civil servants to focus and ensure the 2013 Budget was implemented efficiently," he said.

During the gathering Najib also outlined seven priorities that need to be given focus, namely to implement 2013 Budget efficiently; strengthen national unity through the 1Malaysia concept; manage economy for strong growth and fair distribution of wealth; continue national transformation agenda; implement National Blue Ocean Strategy; ensure key performance indicators for ministers and ministries are met and continue improving the government delivery system.
