GE expects higher revenue this year

Global technology giant, General Electric (GE), expects higher revenue this year from its Malaysian business.
GE Asean Chief Executive Officer Stuart Dean said all of GEs big infrastructure business were located in Malaysia's aviation, power generation , transportation and healthcare sectors.
There will be some new investments, in Malaysia for both aircraft engine and power business," he told a press conference today.
However, he was not unable to furnish any details as approval was still forthcoming from GE.
Malaysia is home to all of GEs significant infrastructure businesses energy, oil and gas, aviation, healthcare, lightning and transportation.
The company, which ranked among the Fortune 500 and sixth largest firm in US, works closely with local infrastructure providers, supplying equipment and services to Petronas, Tenaga Nasional Bhd, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd and local water authorities.
