SINGAPORE: Grab has made history today with the launch of its inaugural GrabX event, a showcase of cutting-edge innovations designed “For Every You”, catering to all aspects of everyday life.
According to Anthony Tan, Co-Founder and Group CEO of Grab Holdings Inc., this move is aimed at deepening Grab’s relevance in the daily lives of Southeast Asians.

“These features have been designed with a philosophy we call AI-First with Heart - that puts AI at the core of how we work and what we build, without ever losing sight of who we’re building for,” said Anthony.
New Solutions, Tailored for Everyone
1. For Families
* Grab for Family | Teens offers a safe and reliable way for teenagers to travel independently—giving parents greater peace of mind.
Features such as PIN verification, real-time trip monitoring, and AudioProtect (soon to be powered by GenAI) ensure a high level of safety for young riders.
* Grab’s AI-powered language model now analyzes order size to determine whether to dispatch a four-wheel vehicle or split deliveries for simultaneous arrival.
2. For Solo Lifestyles
* GrabFood for One is designed for solo diners, eliminating minimum order concerns and offering delicious meals at a consistently low delivery fee.
* Shared Saver enables users to “hitch a ride” on someone else’s nearby order—no acquaintance required.
This reduces delivery costs, eliminates small-order fees, and ensures convenience with doorstep delivery.
3. For the Explorers
* Advance Booking (Airport Pickup) streamlines airport travel, automatically syncing drivers with flight arrival times for a smoother experience.
* Dine Out Discovery, powered by GrabMaps, helps users find top restaurants nearby—complete with reviews, images, menus, and dine-in discounts.
* Grab Travel Pass simplifies and saves costs on cross-border adventures within Southeast Asia with pre-purchased vouchers for rides, meals, and more—available in-app before departure.
In addition, Grab also unveiled its new Grab Early Access Program, giving early users the opportunity to test and improve their latest innovations.
Some of these new features are already available across Southeast Asia, while others will be rolled out progressively in selected markets from April to June.
Philipp Kandal, Chief Product Officer at Grab, shared that Grab 2025 is a journey driven by purpose-built solutions aimed at enriching users’ daily experiences-individually and as part of a community.
“In designing these solutions, our goal is to remove friction and open up new ways for our users to focus on what truly matters, whatever role they might be playing,” Philipp Kandal added.
