Honda assisting car owners in flood-stricken states

Honda Malaysia has come to the rescue of Honda car owners whose cars were affected by the floods by offering a 50 percent discount on genuine parts.

In a statement, Honda said the Flood Relief Programme commenced with immediate effect and would run until March 31, 2015.

"This effort is to help Honda owners affected by severe floods in nine states.

"Customers are advised to furnish a police report on the damaged car and an insurance cover note to any Honda dealers in the affected areas to have their car assessed and the damage repaired once the floods subsided," it said.

Honda Malaysia said the programme was a small effort on its part to help ease the burden of customers in repairing their cars.
