Largest medical app 'BookDoc' JV with 'MyTeksi'
Launched last October, BookDoc is now looking to expand its services to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
Malaysia's first medical platform 'BookDoc' is spreading its wings further by collaborating with Southeast Asia's leading taxi booking apps 'MyTeksi' that allows users to book worry-free rides, anywhere and anytime.
BookDoc is a mobile application that connects patients with medical care professionals and the new service will enable patients to easily book a ride after making an appointment via BookDoc.
Founder of BookDoc, Datuk Chevy Beh said the group expected tremendous take up rate as this would be the only virtual booking to physical transportation platform offered in the Malaysian market.
"Imagine that you are not feeling well and need to see a doctor urgently. The last thing you want to experience is to go through the traffic, find a parking spot or to trouble someone to pick you up and later to be surprised that your preferred doctor has left.
"This is where BookDoc and MyTeksi will come in handy," Beh told Bernama.
Since its launch in October 2015, BookDoc has vastly expanded its services to cater the needs of healthcare professionals, and next, is seeking opportunities to work with MyTeksi to expand the services to other markets such as Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
Looking forward for further collaborations with BookDoc, MyTeksi Malaysia general manager, Jaygan Fu said as the largest "on demand" land transportation platform, the company aimed to revolutionise the local industry.
"Once you have used BookDoc to make the appointments for your loved ones, if you are busy, let the drivers who are carefully screened by MyTeksi take care of the physical journey to and from your preferred health professionals," he added.
