Legoland Malaysia Resort will officially open its Legoland Water Park on October 21 this year.
Its General Manager Siegfried Boerst said the water park which was now 75 per cent complete, would attract more local and international tourists.
"The Legoland Water Park will further enhance the Legoland experience for families with 2-12 years old children."
"The Water Park offers more than 20 unique slides and over 70 Lego models among its many attractions," he said at a press conference here today."
Some of the highlights at the 4.04-hectare water park include the hugely popular Build-A-Raft River and Joker Soaker.
"The first is a unique concept where children can customise their own raft with soft Lego bricks before floating down a lazy river and the latter is a fun interactive platform in the wade pool where children can play with water cannons as a Lego jester model tells jokes while 77 litres of water pour on them," he said.
The water park will also feature two restaurants, private cabanas for rent and a retail store on-site.
Boerst said with the new attractions, families would want to make more visits and stay longer.
It will be a unique holiday destination for the entire family to enjoy, offering adventure, education and fun.
