Malaysian rubber market closed lower today
The Malaysian rubber market closed mostly lower today due to lack of buying interest, despite the uptrend movement in Tokyo rubber futures, dealers said.
At noon, the Malaysian Rubber Board's official physical price for tyre-grade SMR20 rose 5.5 sen to 920 sen per kg, while latex-in-bulk shed half-a-sen per kg to 626.5 sen per kg.
The unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR20 fell 1.5 sen to 914.5 sen per kg, while latex-in-bulk slipped half-a-sen sen to 626 sen per kg.
