Hybrid airline, Malindo Air, has signed an agreement with the Malaysian government for bulk payment services.

In a statement Friday, Malindo Air said under the agreement, government officials may fly with the airline using a special travel warrant for travel authorised by the government.

"The warrant, called Waran Perjalanan Udara Awam, is valid for government officials travelling domestically and internationally on official duty and will entitle them to Malindo Air's standardised rates and dedicated hotlines," it said.

Malindo Air Chief Executive Officer, Chandran Rama Muthy, said with this agreement, the airline hoped to support the government by providing seamless connectivity and unparalleled convenience in travel for all its flying needs.

Malindo Air is the third airline to have an agreement with the government for bulk payment services.
