MARA Digital Mall to open in Kuantan - Exco

A MARA Digital Mall is expected to be opened here early next year to serve people in the East Coast to get among others, electronic gadgets at reasonable prices.

Pahang Cooperative, Entrepreneurship and Consumerism Committee chairman Datuk Seri Shahiruddin Ab Moin said a building in Kemunting here would be renovated at a cost of around RM2 million to house the digital centre.

"We are still collecting funds to renovate the premises," he told reporters, here on Wednesday, adding that the premises would also house co-operative shops and would become a one-stop centre for tourists to buy local-made products.

For that purpose, he said State Cooperative Coordinator Consortium had engaged with the Kuantan Municipal Council and the Majlis Amanah Rakyat.
