Maxis Bhd says it is still in the process of identifying a possible candidate for the post of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The position was left vacant after its former occupant, Nasution Mohamed, was named Maxis Joint Chief Operating Officer in June this year.
Speaking to reporters after the company's results briefing today, Nasution said an announcement on the new CFO would be made soon, while the company's restructuring process is expected to be completed by end-August.
Maxis, has since June, been undergoing a management restructuring, which left some of the top positions vacant.
The telco has also streamlined its organisational structure from eight business units into four. Each has its respective head to strengthen core business areas for future growth.
Meanwhile, Maxis chairman Raja Tan Sri Arshad Raja Uda said the organisational restructuring, is an important step towards the execution of the company's mission to be an integrated communications services provider.
The group's new Chief Executive Officer, Morten Lundel, is expected to come on board in October.
