McDonald’s Malaysia aims to open 200 additional outlets nationwide within the next decade.

Managing Director Azmir Jaafar said the plan also includes improvements and modifications to current outlets.

He said the company was committed to providing a tantalising array of choices for Malaysians, while simultaneously creating jobs with the opening of new outlets.

In earlier reports, the company said it had committed to invest RM1.4 billion for the expansion plan.

“We believe this is a worthwhile investment, based on the increasing number of customers,” he told reporters during the launch of the new Korean Spicy Burger here, today.

This latest addition to the menu is available from today to Aug 23, and is being sold at RM12.99 a la carte and RM15.99 for the set, which includes the burger, criss-cut fries and Frozen Fanta.
