Media Prima clarifies chairman status

Tan Sri Ismee Ismail is currently an independent non-executive director of Media Prima, the group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Thursday.

This appointment, according to the note seen by Astro AWANI took effect from June 1.

Media Prima stated the current Media Prime Group Chairman Datuk Seri Fateh Iskandar had indicated to step down to focus on other matters.

“The appointment of a successor (to Datuk Seri Fateh) will be made at the next Media Prima Board Meeting”, Media Prima statement to Bursa Malaysia says.
