MIHAS makes it to Malaysia Book of Records

The Malaysia International Halal Showcase (Mihas) has made it to the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) by virtue of being the largest halal trade fair in the country.
The fair is organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade).
In a statement here today, Matrade said Mihas 2017 saw the participation of over 580 exhibitors from 33 countries and had strengthened Malaysia's position as the global leader in the halal industry.
Participating countries included Palestine, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, the Netherlands, Brazil, South Africa, China, Japan and Taiwan. ASEAN member countries also participated.
Austria and Finland also made their debut at Mihas 2017 from April 5-8.
MBR is the world's top five accreditation body and recognises record holders, record breakers and record creators in Malaysia. -- Bernama
