Astro subscribers can now have more airtime of their favourite shows from the United States, United Kingdom, Korea, China, Taiwan and Singapore with the expansion of its online content platform, Astro On Demand.
In an announcement today, Astro said since its launch in October 2015, some 350,000 customers have subscribed to the service.
"The On Demand service has become an increasingly popular medium for our subscribers to watch what they want, when they want and where they want, with the ability to access various films and television shows," said Astro Vice President, Content Group, Agnes Rozario.
Apart from that, she said, most of the programmes are also available on the same day it is aired in its country of origin, such as those from the United States, United Kingdom and Korea.
"On Demand now has more than 11,000 hours of total airtime.
"We plan to add more programmes on this platform for our customers as soon as it is made available in the United States or Europe," Rozario added.
