More awareness programmes on online business next year: MITI

Online businesses are effective and simple to operate as they do not need premises and reduce business transaction time, besides being one way for the people to cut their living expenses.
The International Trade and Industry Ministry (MITI) will hold more awareness programmes on online business next year, said Deputy Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan.
"All agencies under MITI are urged to hold programmes such as seminars, forums and clinics on online business in 2016.
"Our entrepreneurs have been taught packaging, branding and the like, now we want them to venture into online business," the Pontian MP told reporters after a meeting between Johor MITI and local entrepreneurs here Saturday.
