KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), the leading strategic investment company in Malaysia for growth up till companies ready for listing has successfully achieved ISMS ISO 27001 certification with the support of Nexagate Sdn.Bhd., MTDC's own ecosystem company and a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions. The ISO certification was presented to MTDC’s Chief Executive Officer, Tuan Hj Mohammad Hazani Hj Hassan by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd’s Chief Executive Officer Puan Nur Fadhilah Muhammad in a ceremony today.
The ISMS ISO 27001 certification is an international standard approved by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd that provides a framework for managing and protecting sensitive information. By achieving this certification, MTDC demonstrates its commitment to information security, which is crucial to the growth of Industry 4.0 in Malaysia. This ensures that sensitive information is adequately protected against unauthorized access or theft, enabling MTDC to further drive the technological advancement of the nation.

This certification covers 7 MTDC locations namely its headquarters in Menara Yayasan Tun Razak, UPM-MTDC Technology Centre TIC I and TIC III, Serdang, UKM-MTDC Technology Centre, Bangi, UiTM-MTDC Technopreneur Centre, Shah Alam, and FRIM-MTDC Technology Centre, Kepong.
