DATUK Mohd Nadzmi Salleh, former Proton Holdings Bhd chairman, have sold his entire shareholding in Tiger Synergy Bhd, after failing to get the shareholder registra from the company.
Mohd Nadzmi sold the stake via Hayat Maya Sdn Bhd. Prior to the disposal, Hayat Maya had 34.19 million Tiger shares, representing some 8.9 per cent stake in the company.
Mohd Nadzmi's associate, Datuk Seri Abdul Azim Zabidi, meanwhile also disposed his entire stake in Tiger.
The duo have been at loggerheads with the Tiger board since December over the shareholder registra.
They demanded the shareholder registra, as they wanted to call for a shareholders meeting to oust, Tiger's managing director Datuk Tan Wei Lian and three other directors from Tiger board.
"Our request for the registra, was not met. The authorities have been silent on our request for them to step in," a spokesperson for Hayat Maya said.
"The registra contains name, number of shares and mailing adress of the shareholder. This is needed, for the purpose of notifying all shareholders of a shareholder meeting."
The spokesperson added that Hayat Maya was concerned its investment in Tiger could diminish considerably.
For the quarter ended March 31 2013,, Tiger said its revenue wad RM133,000 versus RM10.45 million. Also its trade receiveables increased by two million to RM8.06 million from a year ago, while its cash dropped RM1.26 million in current quarter from RM7.65 million in December last year
