Najib to launch zilzar.com on second day of working visit to Dubai

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will launch zilzar.com, a halal eco-trade platform, as his first agenda on the second day of his working visit here.
His presence in the most populated city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is in conjunction with the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) held at the Madinat Jumeirah until Oct 30.
Najib is also expected to be granted an audience by Sheikh Hamdan Rashid Al Maktoum, Finance Minister of the UAE and Deputy Ruler of Dubai at Zabeel Palace.
After the audience, the patron of the WIEF Foundation will then proceed for lunch with members of the WIEF International Advisory Panel and WIEF Strategic Partners at Burj Al Arab.
Later in the afternoon, the Prime Minister will tour the 10th WIEF Expo after which he is expected to announce syndicated Islamic facilities for Battersea Phase 3 Holding Company Ltd.
Najib is expected to attend a roundtable meeting with UAE investors, organised by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority.
To wrap up his second day, the prime minister and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, will attend the Malaysian Agrofood Festival and a people's gathering at the Arena, Jumierah Beach Hotel.
The WIEF is organised by the WIEF Foundation in collaboration with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Najib arrived on Sunday for the working visit and is scheduled to leave on Oct 30.
This is the premier's second visit to the UAE after visiting the capital city of Abu Dhabi in May. - Massita Ahmad
