NAZA Premira-Vespa Sprint to contribute 20% to sales

NAZA Premira Sdn Bhd, the sole and official importer of Vespa scooters in Malaysia, expects the new Vespa Sprint to contribute 20 per cent to its total sales volume this year. NAZA World Group of Companies Group Executive Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Wira SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin said the company was also confident to record 100 per cent growth in sales volume this year compared to 2014. "The Vespa Sprint is an important model for Piaggio, the scooter manufacturer, and NAZA Premira as it embodies the core elements that define the Vespa brand for over half a century while being the ambassador of Vespas new, class-leading technologies," he said. The Vespa Sprint is priced at RM13,888 (excluding 6.0 per cent Goods and Services Tax) with two years manufacturers warranty or 20,000km, whichever comes first. It is available in six exciting colours: Montebianco (white), Rosso Dragon (red), Grigio Titanio (grey), Blu Midnight (dark blue), yellow and orange. Currently, Faisal said Vespa Malaysia has 25 authorised dealers in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah and Sarawak that are fully compliant with the Vespa Corporate Identity. "To further strengthen and solidify the brands local presence, we aim to add another five dealers to bring the total dealer network to 30 across Malaysia. "We also welcome any interested parties to be part of the Vespa dealer network across Malaysia," he added
