Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd's (FGV) board of directors today clarified that there has been no discussions on taking the company private.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, FGV said the announcement was made after making due enquiries with Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) as the major shareholder.
"FGV was informed that there has been no discussion on this matter at the board level.
FGV has also not received any proposal from the other shareholders on the same matter," it said.
The plantation company said if there was any development or material information on the matter, it would make the necessary announcement.
At lunch break, FGV shares ended flat at RM1.76. - BERNAMA
