Bumiputera entrepreneurs information technology (IT) goods outlet MARA Digital Mall will be opening a branch in Penang, according to Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He said through the opening of the branch, it could provide opportunities for more Bumiputeras to venture into the IT field.
"The state MARA director will find a suitable location. I hope it will be built in an ideal location, in an urban area. As we know Penang has great potential," he told reporters after opening Tanjong UMNO division's delegates meeting here on Sunday.

Elaborating further, Ismail Sabri said the location of the MARA Digital Mall in Penang was important to bring in customers.
"Do not look for a place so remote. If it is in a shopping area, it would be better," he added.
