Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) targets to sell 7,600 units of its first Sedan, Bezza, per month in 2016.

Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Dr Aminar Rashid Salleh said the company is optimistic that the model will be touted as one of the best volume sellers, targeted for replacement car buyers, specifically newlyweds and young families, who need a larger boot space in line with the new stage in their lives.

Tagged between RM37, 300 for the 1.0L Standard G (manual transmission) and RM50, 800 for the 1.3L Advanced variant (automatic transmission), the car comes in six different colours, namely the new metallic colours --Sugar Brown and Ocean Blue -- for the 1.3L variants, as well as existing colours of Lava Red, Ebony Black, Glittering Silver and Solid Ivory White.

Bookings for the Bezza is open and public can visit any Perodua sales showrooms nationwide to view the model starting today.

He also added that customers’ feedback revealed that users require a vehicle that can accommodate the changes in travelling needs and we believed Perodua Bezza meets those needs," Aminar said.

The Bezza took RM300 million to develop and has 95 per cent local content," he said.

The "A" segment compact sedan is the first Perodua vehicle whose upper body is fully designed by Malaysians at its energy efficient vehicle-certified plant, Perodua Global Manufacturing Sdn Bhd.

Aminar Rashid said the sedan was made with quality, comfort, spaciousness, reliability, affordability and looks in mind as it has one of the biggest boot spaces in the market with 508 litres available in its class.
