Petron to offer Turbo Diesel Euro 5 at all stations

Petron will roll out Turbo Diesel Euro 5 fuel at all its petrol kiosks nationwide soon to meet the growing demand from customers.

Its Head of Corporate Affairs, Zaimi Harun said the new and improved edition of the diesel fuel was currently available at 73 petrol stations, mostly in the Klang Valley.

"Since the roll out in September 2016, we have received excellent feedback from customers who have been regularly using the Turbo Diesel Euro 5 fuel.

"More importantly, the fuel meet the ultra-low sulfur requirements of Euro 5 standards, helping improve air quality in the country," he told reporters during the two-day Petron Fuel Happy road trip here, today.

The Turbo Diesel Euro 5 is a technologically-advanced diesel specially engineered with a premium addictive system to provide improved engine performance for superior acceleration, better fuel economy and reduced harmful exhaust emissions.

Zaimi said other benefits were complete combustion for maximum power, cleaner fuel injection, reduced ignition delay, improved cold start performance and better protection against engine corrosion.

Due to its very low sulfur content, the Turbo Diesel Euro 5 produces less emission and meets the stringent requirements of global Euro 5 specifications, he added. -- Bernama
