Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) was among the world's leading companies conferred with the Quality Choice Prize 2016 by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR).
It was given to the Prasarana in conjunction with ESQR's Convention and Award Giving Ceremony held in Berlin, Germany on Monday (Dec 12) for its exemplary management strategies and vast contribution to the public transport industry.
Prasarana Group president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Azmi Abdul Aziz in a statement today said the award was a testament of recognition of the solid efforts and solid dedications by every single staff of Prasarana and its subsidiary companies.
"I must thank and congratulate the Malaysian government for its firm belief that the future for the country's prosperity and progress is through its Government Transformation Plan, which forms the basis of our own Prasarana Transformation Plan," he said.
The annual event by ESQR recognises and highlights outstanding business results, best practices, quality awareness and achievements by companies in regional and global markets. - Bernama
