Protasco wins RM58 million in infrastructure project

Protasco Bhd has been awarded a RM58 million project for main civil and infrastructure works to connect the road between Jalan Klang Lama and New Pantai Expressway.

The project was awarded by a subsidiary of Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB), Gelanggang Harapan Construction Sdn Bhd, Protasco said in a statement.

On Thursday, Protasco was awarded a maintenance project for federal roads in Sarawak worth approximately RM77 million by the Public Works Department.

Both projects are expected to be completed in 2016.

“These two projects are expected to contribute positively to Protasco’s year-end results," its executive vice-chairman and group managing director Datuk Seri Chong Ket Pen said.
