Proton confident brand will grow in Thai market

Proton Holdings Bhd is confident that its brand will keep growing in Thailand's automotive market, following the entry of Proton Suprima S into the country, joining the other strong stable of Proton models.

The hatchback, unveiled at the 2013 Thailand International Motor Expo, is available in the Premium variant.

It marks the Malaysian automotive manufacturer's most comprehensively-equipped model introduced to the Thai market in terms of performance, styling, safety, driving dynamics and sophistication.

Currently, Proton models available in Thailand are the Prevé, Saga FLX, Gen.2 and Exora Bold, the national car manufacturer said in a statement on Friday.
