RM1 bil sales expected at Intrade 2012
The Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) expects sales transactions at Intrade 2012 to exceed RM1 billion from last year's RM900 million.
Its Chairman Datuk Mah Siew Keong said the response for Intrade 2012, which ended today, was very good.
He said Intrade has established a reputation among buyers.
"Last few years, delegates came with the intention to explore, but this year they were serious buyers," he said.
Stressing that Intrade was a good step forward, Mah encouraged small and medium enterprises' participation next year to make it a bigger event.
