Samsung expected to announce Galaxy S8 in February 2017

Hardware manufacturer Samsung is on course to showcase its next core handset, the Galaxy S8, on February 26, 2017, according to an insider source.

Well-known and widely respected tipster Ricciolo has suggested the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be released on February 26, 2017.

If so, then Samsung will most likely hold a special event the day before Mobile World Congress 2017 takes place, at which the Galaxy S8 will be unveiled and made available for purchase.

Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S5 phones were shown at Mobile World Congress events.

If these reports are correct, it would appear that Samsung is not intending to adjust the date of its S7 reveal after the difficulties encountered with the Galaxy Note 7's August launch.
