The mobile segment will be at the forefront in the implementation of Internet-of-Things (IoT) by 2017, says Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd Mobile Division Product Manager Au Kuan Yew.
Yesterday, Samsung Electronics Co Ltd announced that all of its devices will be installed with IoT systems and the company will invest more than US$100 million (US$1=RM3.5705) in its developer community this year.
"We welcome the announcement and I am confident that Malaysia will get a lot of investment from whatever figures that our leader has mentioned," Au told the media at the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A5 and A3 models today.
