Sarawak Cable secures RM32.87 million transmission job

Sarawak Cable Bhd, via its 100 per cent owned Trenergy Infrastructure Sdn Bhd, received a RM32.87 million contract from Sarawak Energy Bhd.

The job, which is for the proposed Tudan-Miri Airport 132kV Transmission Project, will start on June 17 and it is expected to take 15 months to complete.

The company, in its filing to Bursa Malaysia, said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for the financial year ending December 31 2013 and 2014.
