SimplySiti Sdn Bhd aims to sell at least 500,000 units of each its four products under the newly launched Luminous White skincare range within one year.
The skincare range comprises facial cleanser, toner, day cream and night cream, priced at between RM25.90 and RM41.90 each.
Managing director and chief executive director, Asyraf Khalid, said the company also aims to turn Luminous White into one of the foremost whitening skincare brands in the country in the next three years.
"We will increase our marketing efforts by joining festivals and engaging in collaborations with other brands to ensure the products are easily available in the mass market," he told Bernama recently.
Asyraf said among the collaborations, SimplySiti will join forces with AirAsia Bhd to sell the products in-flight, which will be announced in September.
To a question, Asyraf said the firm has been plagued by insufficient stock since the beginning of business operations, mainly due to robust consumer demand and pilferage of stock.
"We are now focusing on ways to ensure sufficient stock in the future, so that we can grow further," he said, adding the company has found technological solutions to the stock shortage issue.
The next two years will be very exciting for the firm, he said, without elaborating.
Meanwhile, president and founder Datuk Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin said SimplySiti plans to penetrate the Indonesian market by 2017.
"We are now at a negotiating phase with the Indonesian side and it looks positive," she said, adding that further announcements will be made next year.
SimplySiti has over 450 outlets in Malaysia including at key retailers Watsons, Guardian, Aeon Wellness and Sogo, and also has a presence in Brunei.
The company has 100 stock keeping units comprising makeup, skincare and perfume products available online at www.zalora.com and www.aladdinstreet.com.my.
