Thailand 'highly likely' to decide to join TPP - deputy prime minister

Thailand is "highly likely" to decide to join the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade deal (TPP), Thai deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said on Friday.
"Thailand is highly interested in joining TPP ...," he told a news conference in Tokyo through an interpreter. "Chances are high that Thailand will seek to join TPP."
