Singapore's budget carrier, Tiger Airways has reported third-quarter losses of A$10 million, up from A$8.6 million in the previous quarter.
The airline blamed the loss on rising costs and greater competition between airlines in the domestic market, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Australia's four major airlines have been in an ongoing battle for dominance in the domestic market, with each slashing fares to remain competitive.
Earnings are expected to be down for all four airlines and Qantas and Virgin Australia will reveal their financial position in the first-half results due out next month.
