TM appoints Mohammed Shazalli as new MD and group CEO
Mohammed Shazalli is currently the regional CEO and Corporate Executive Vice President (EVP) for Axiata Group Bhd.
Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has appointed Datuk Seri Mohammed Shazalli Ramly, 55, as its new Managing Director (MD)/ Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective May 1, 2017.
In a statement today, TM said Shazalli succeeds Tan Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, who retires as Group CEO on April 30.
Mohammed Shazalli is currently the regional CEO and Corporate Executive Vice President (EVP) for Axiata Group Bhd.
Concurrently, TM also appointed Executive Director / Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO), Datuk Bazlan Osman, 53, as the new Executive Director/ Deputy Group CEO from April 1.
Meanwhile, current Financial Controller, Nor Fadhilah Mohd Ali has been appointed to cover the duties of the GCFO, effective April 1, until the post is filled.
TM believes that the new era of leadership, coupled with a strong combination of industry, marketing, financial and operational expertise, will continue the solid momentum that TM has built as Malaysia's convergence champion.
