U Mobile Sdn Bhd has introduced its Data Backpack service which allows customers to use their existing Internet quota when travelling overseas.
Chief Marketing Officer Jasmine Lee said the service is available to U Mobile's postpaid customers who are on the P70, i90, i130, UD95 and UD135 plans and can be enjoyed in 12 countries -- Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and the Philippines.
"We believe that U Mobile's Data Backpack will be a huge benefit to our digitally savvy customers who can now tap into their postpaid plan data quota when overseas without incurring any extra cost," she said in a statement today.
