UDA appoints new chairman

UDA Holdings Bhd (UDA) has appointed Datuk Mohd Shafei Abdullah as chairman, effective Dec 10, to replace Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani who was appointed Deputy Finance Minister.

"The new chairman once served as the political secretary to the Finance Minister, who is also Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Najib Razak) until 2013," a statement said.

UDA is confident that Mohd Shafei's credibility and professional experience in the corporate world and politics will help spearhead the company forward as a sustainable and dynamic property developer in Malaysia.
