Weststar aviation extends its global reach

The deal between Weststar Aviation Services with this London Stock Exchange listed oil and gas company worth RM500 million will witness Weststar Aviation Services providing its first offshore aviation services utlising two AugustaWestland AW 139 helicopters operating out of Mauritania, Afrika.

The commencement of the operation is epected to start in August 2013. This initial contract will be for a period up to four years including the option for extension. Weststar will be operating the facility in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania, and will be recruiting 23 local staff as part of its operational activities.
