Windfall for 200,000 ATM staff - Zahid
Depositors of Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) and Koperasi Angkatan Tentera (KAT) will receive a windfall as the management is expected to declare a higher dividend.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the dividend, highest dividend in its history, is good news to 200,000 Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) staff.
"Wait for the announcement soon. The dividend will come as a pleasant surprise," he told reporters after a function at Gong Kedak Air Base near here Saturday.
The highest dividend declared by LTAT and KAT was 14 percent in 2011.
