Che Johan called up to explain himself
Che Johan Che Pa has been called up to give an explanation over his failure send in his nomination form yesterday.
The Kelantan Umno state liaison committee chairman Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said that the political bureau was now investigating the matter.
Mustapa said that he was disappointed with Che Johan who betrayed the trust of the party when he decided not to file his nomination form.
Umno Kelantan has also forwarded the issue to the national Umno discipilnary committee.
Yesterday during the candidate nomiation process, Che Johan had decided not to contest in the Pasir Mas seat.
This gave way to the incumbent, Datuk Ibrahim Ali, who will be contesting the seat against the Pas candidate Nik Muhammad Abduh Nik Mat.
In a separate matter, Mustapa reminded that BN machinery in Kelantan not to let their their guard in mission to win Kelantan.
This was because the party will face stiff competition in PAS, which has 23 years of experience ruling the state.
Mustapa was at a press conference after a meeting with the political bureau. At the ceremony, the minister also announced Datuk Hassan Harun as a director of Kelantan BN election machinery.
